Dawn East, MSW, LCSW

My name is Dawn East.  I received my Masters Degree in Social Work in 1998 from Washington University, in St. Louis.  I received the WEB DeBois scholarship for outstanding incoming students in children and youth studies.  I received my license in clinical social work in 2000.  I have been working in some helping capacity with children and families since 1991, after receiving my Associates in Human Services and Certificate in Drug and Alcohol Related Issues.

I have been in private practice since 2001, and I have been contracted as a consultant and trainer by State and National organizations.

My goal is to help people in need.  Life can become hard, stressful, and unmanageable for lots of different reasons.  Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental place to get the help you need.  It is a Therapist obligation to serve individuals, couples, families, groups in a respectful manner, recognizing the uniqueness of each person and the importance of human relationships.
